Overwhelming approval by the House of Representatives, a 292-130 vote, has continued the process of dismantling federal gun control legislation. It's a dismaying commentary on the integrity and responsibility of the men in Washington entrusted to create rules under which American must live.The disgrace of this action compounds, and echoes, last year's U.S. Senate vote, 79-15, which began the process.This capitulation by a fearful Congress to the outrageously false propaganda of the National Rifle Association shocks much of the public.
